Model maintenance solutions
We offer maintenance-, alteration and repair work for foundry patterns and model equipment in Tampere. We are for example able to repair epoxy molds form which we have a long track record. We increase the lifespan of existing molds. Maintenance work can be anything from surface finishing, structural reinforcement or reshaping an old model to fit a modified product. Usually patterns and molds do not have 3d-models, but this is not an issue. We can utilize laser scanning to achieve these.

We have an experienced team of two professional painters, three model carpenters and three machinists performing model maintenance. The renovated models repaired by our team will be suited for the existing casting process. We have been able to extend the repaired models’ and patterns’ lifespan for many years. This is obviously dependant on many factors. We have over 20 years experience in model maintenance. Ris-Pert distinguishes itself with quality and flexibility. We can also handle larger quantities of model set at a time.
